Ansen fiberglass casting tape is applied in case of fracture treatment, which is a plaster cast made from fiberglass fabric,  lighter and more comfortable alternative plaster of Paris. 

Ansen fiberglass casting tape is a lightweight and extremely strong material.  As compared to traditional plaster of Paris cast, it is light in weight and more durable. It is three times stronger and but is only one-third in weight. 

Ansen fiberglass casting tape comes in many colors.

Operation

1. Apply 1-2 layers stockinet over the affected body part 1-2 layers and additional padding can be used;

2. Wear surgical gloves ;

3. Choose the roll of proper size ;

4. Immerse the cast in normal temperature (21-24 degree) water for 4-6 seconds and squeeze 2-3 times Then remove from the water and squeeze out excess water ;  

5. Warp spirally,overlapping the previous layer by one-half or two-thirds the width of the roll ;
