Ansen pipe repair tape is a roll of fibreglass bandage impregnated with water-activated resin. You can simply immerse the bandage in water for 4 seconds,then apply by wrapping around the damaged pipe area. A successful pipe wrap can be achieved in 30 minutes. It is a good solution moisture cured wrap system for Pipeline Mechanical Protection for corrosion.

Easy to use  No mixing,repaired pipes can be returned to service in less than thirty minutes.

Resistant to most chemicals  including: mek, acetone,sulphuric acid,ethylalcohol,gasoline,toluene,diesel,varsol,crude oil,hydraulic oil...

Step1:Shut off the pressure and isolate leak. Clean, degrease and abrade substrate around leak site.

Step2:Work putty until a uniform mixture is evident.
Step3:Apply mixed putty immediately to leak site. Firmly press putty into defect.

Step4:Put on gloves supplied with the Pipe Repair Bandage. Immerse Bandage in water or place under running tap water for 10 secs.

Step5:Wrap the Bandage tautly around the leak site extending 50mm either side of damaged area.

Step6:Smooth the resin as it foams during curing and work resin into the base fabric in a 'tightening motion'. Restore pipe to service once Bandage is cured.
