Armorcast tape also called armor wrap tape,armorcast sheath repair tape,armorcast bandage or armor belt. 
It is a stretchy knit fiberglass fabric strip, saturated with a curable black polyurethane resin.It starts to cure when water is added. Once waet, the fiber tape becomes tacky and sticks to itself. so it wraps easily around almost any shape or size. When properly applied according to the following instructions, Armorcast will solidify into a tough, durable composite which is ideal for mechanical stiffening and protection of cables and splices.

How to use the Armorcast Sheath Repair Tape/Armorcast Structural Material

Step1: Wearing gloves to protect your hands from the resin.
Step2: Open the pouch and immerse the armorcast in fresh water for 4-6 seconds to activate.
Step3: Apply the armorcast around the damaged area, extending up to 50mm on either side of the cable to ensure complete coverage.
Step4: While wrapping, pull each layer tightly and firmly using your hands to mold and squeeze the layers together in a tightening motion.
Step5: Continue to smooth the surface until the armorcast has fully set. 
Step6: Let it cure and dry. Cables can be moved in 30 minutes.

Tips:
*The entire contents must be used once the package is opened.
*You can also apply directly without first dipping in water. The curing time is longer if it is not dipped in water.
*The armorcast tape must be applied quickly as curing starts once it is taken out of the water.
