Product Description

Armorcast Structural Material is packed (rolls) dry in a sealed foil envelope and is a flexible fiberglass knit fabric strip that has been saturated with a curable black urethane resin syrup that starts to cure when water is added.

Once wet, the fiber strip becomes tacky and sticks to itself, so it wraps easily around almost any shape or size.

Armorcast Structural Material is resistant to moisture, fungus, acid, alkali, ozone, sunlight, gasoline and high temperatures. It combines long life and very little maintenance.

Introduction of Armor Wrap Cast

Armorcast Structural Material is perfect for strengthening old cable, splices and auxiliary seals.No reworking is required, it's ready to wrap straight from the package.

Armorcast Structural Material is fast and easy to apply, yet hardens to a strong, maintenance-free coating. The fiberglass reinforced composite material forms a tough, durable covering that will harden in approximately 30 minutes and fully cures in 24 hours.

Armorcast Structural Material can be used on pressurized or non-pressurized cable and either polyethylene or lead sheathed cable.

How to use the Armor Wrap Cast

1.Prepare the surface by cleaning and roughening the cable.
2.Put on enclosed latex gloves.  
3.Put water into the packing bag, press several seconds and take out the tape. Squeeze out excess water.
4.Apply around the cable extending up to 50mm either side of the cable to ensure complete coverage.   It is important that the bandage is applied.
5.Quickly as curing begins once it is taken out of the water.  
6.When wrapping, pull each layer tightly by using your hand to mould and squeeze the layers together.
7.Continue this action during and upon completion. 

Application of Armor Wrap Cast

1.     Recommend for the pipeline leakage not exceeding 1/8" in diameter and pipe size 2" diameter

May be used with good results on pipe with a temperature range from -29°c to 121°c.

2.     Used on electrode holder arm to ensure the welding strength and protect the electrode holder in the car

or ship industry etc.

3.      The connection of the 10KV, 35KV single-core or three- core cold shrinkable cable connector,

also the protection of the hot shrinkage cable connector.

4.     Other occasions of repairing for the rigid purpose, such as the bars of the garden tools etc
