Ansen pipe repair bandages are mainly made of fiberglass and polyurethane materials,a high-strength fiberglass wrap, impregnated with a specially-formulated resin to repair pipes up to 1" in diameter. When activated by water, the product forms a waterproof bond that hardens like steel in 15 minutes. which have completely different effects from resin,  especially formulated to make quick and effective repairs of cracks, leaks, fractures, and corrosion porosity in piping carrying water, oil, steam, most gases and even solvents.

Operation Steps

1.Turn off pressure in pipeline. Abrade the pipe with sandpaper or file and clean the surface . 

   The prepared area should be approximately 3 to 4 times the size of the damaged area.

2. Knead EPOXY PUTTY until it is a uniform grey colour. 

3.Apply firmly to the damaged area within 2–5 minutes of mixing. It is important to apply the bandage

   before the putty is cured.

4.Using gloves, remove bandage from the package. Immerse in temperate water for 4-6 seconds.

5. Wrap tightly and quickly,using entire roll extend approx. 8 to 10cm above and below the damage area.

   A strong tight repair is very important. 

6.Wet gloves in water,squeeze and mold tape in the direction of the wrap until resin stops foaming and is set. 

7.Wait 24 hours for EPOXY PUTTY to full cured.
